I wanted to address one of the points you made in your post on Sunday -apologies i meant to do this earlier.
You fear that the Swan is just 'one of those places' that it has always attracted trouble with youths hanging around and intimidating others.
It is entirely down to the people who own and run an establishment to prevent this from happening, moving people on and not allowing them the chance to become a problem or cause trouble and yes calling in reinforcement if necessary. We cannot allow our lives to be ruled by others who are out just to cause trouble.
Please do not assume that because a property has had a chequered past that it is always going to be a problem. Customers who are out to cause trouble and intimidate others are not welcome ever.
We will belong to the local pub police watch scheme and anyone who systematically causes trouble will not only find themselves not welcome in our establishment but also all the establishments that belong to the watch itself.
We are also being asked by the police to install CCTV inside the property and outside the main entrance and car parking area. |
