The Football Club begin the defence of their Sussex County League Division Three title this coming Saturday (14 August) away to Saltdean United. This is followed by another FIVE away matches in a row due to the Parish Council's refusal to allow the club to use the recreation ground from the beginning of the season. Even pre-season warm-up matches had to be played on other grounds with a "home" match being played at Southbourne recreation ground. So locals will have to wait until September before they are able to see our local team play. By then of course, we will be six matches into the season! |
