Bosham Flower Club was formed about 17 years ago, and became affiliated to the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies.

Afternoon meetings are held in the Village Hall on the 4th Wednesday of each month, except during July, August and December, starting at 2p.m. and closing at 4p.m.

Flower Arrangement Demonstrations are presented by qualified arrangers at the meetings, the results of which are later offered as raffle prizes. Both Novice and Advanced Members may, if they wish, enter the Competitions set from time to time. Items of interest to arrangers are offered for sale at reasonable prices on the regular Sales Table.

In April and November members may attend a Luncheon at the Hall before the afternoon meeting. These are always very popular and enjoyable events.

In addition to the monthly meetings, occasional workshops are planned, giving members the opportunity to improve their flower arranging skills with the help of a tutor. These one day sessions commence at 10.30a.m. and close at 3.30p.m.. Tea or Coffee is provided, and members bring a packed lunch. The annual programme allows for a few social events, i.e. a Midsummer Party in June, and a Ploughman's Lunch in July, both events being held in members' gardens.

In year 2024 the members celebrated the Millennium with a special visit to Goodwood House where they enjoyed a delightful Luncheon followed by a guided tour of the House. Other memorable visits have included an Autumn visit to Wisley Gardens in Surrey and an invitation from a Surrey Member to visit her garden in Cobham.

The Annual Subscription for Membership of the Bosham Flower Club is £13.00

There are at present about 60 Members, and new Members will find this a very friendly club, where many long term friendships have been formed.
