BOSHAM MONDAY CLUB

Bosham Monday Club meets each week in the Village Hall, Bosham. Our meetings start at 1.15pm and go on to 3.15pm. Our members are local people, male and female, over 60 years old.

It is a friendly club; our programme is varied and includes visiting speakers, garden parties, an annual outing sailing in Bosham Harbour, a variety concert, or sometimes simply tea and a chat, and a game of Bingo.

We have a Christmas party and produce a Christmas fair which we all enjoy.

Transport can be arranged if needed by local volunteer drivers or our minibus.

A small weekly fee is charged for tea and a raffle.

New members are always welcome. For further information contact:

Bosham Old Timers

This is an enthusiastic group of nine (four ladies, four men and the pianist) who offer entertainment in clubs and retirement homes that are approximately within one hour's drive from Bosham.

The varied programme of cheerful songs is drawn from those that audiences are likely to remember and love. Colourful costumes add to the appeal. The show is designed to last one hour. The group set themselves a high standard and have regularly appeared on the stage of the Windmill Theatre, Littlehampton, for Age Concern's annual 5-day festival of entertainment. The charge is £20 plus the cost of transport, but donations to the Bosham Minibus Fund are always welcome!

Bookings through Pat Butler -tel: Bosham (0123) 572938- or write to him at Parkers Pound, Walton Lane, Old Bosham, Chichester, but should avoid the period April to July when a new programme is being rehearsed.

New members are of course welcome.
