Chairman's message

Mrs. Patsy West

A very warm welcome to the Bosham Community Website.

Bosham is without doubt a beautiful, vibrant and diverse community. Filled with people from all walks of life, each one of us is very fortunate to live here. Whether you are a longstanding local, new to the village, second home-owner or tenant, we hope you will feel welcome to participate with us on the official Bosham Community website. We are here to serve.

Our main objective is to represent all local groups and interests fairly and without bias, but equally importantly we would like you to participate in whatever way you feel will bring most benefit to you, your group, club or society and the Community in general. We firmly believe that, as with families, a "community that plays together stays together". It behoves each one of us to strengthen our community in any way possible.

We have made the site interactive so that you can have your say.  How much interest there will be in this facility we have yet to discover, but I do know for a fact that what you are looking at is a powerful tool that we can all use to enhance our lifestyle -- and indeed of those who are less fortunate. Surely that must be an objective.

If I as "webservant" do my job correctly it will have been a tremendous privilege to serve. But I need your help. I have no other ambition than one day it may be recorded that "he was fortunate to be a Boshamite and served his community well" -- and then scatter my ashes in the Churchyard or Millstream along with my ancestors (with the Vicars permission of course!)  :o)

If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.

Tony Black.
